About Us!

H2O Transformers (H2OT) offers water environmental consulting and technical services specializing in our customers' current needs and future water treating needs. H2OT was founded by Donald L. Seagle in July, 2002 to meet the worldwide increase in polymer applications.

Water-soluble, cationic polymers are used extensively in water and wastewater treatment plants across the United States and worldwide, primarily to improve the processes of thickening/dewatering, oil/water separation and water filtration.

Competitive polymer evaluations are offered by H2OT as an added technical service. With 25 years+ of polymer selection experience including trouble-shooting upset biological processes in both clarification and dewatering, H2OT will conduct a fair, unbiased, impartial competitive evaluation. Several vendors will be invited to compete for the polymer business. H2OT will test and report the vendors total offerings to your organization, and your staff can make informed decisions based on an independent viewpoint. H2OT represents simply the facts.

Not all organic polymers will perform equally therefore full scale trials must be conducted on each polymer and vendor. These full scale trials require direct supervision by a qualified and experienced polymer expert and not add to the time consuming duties to existing staff personnel. There are many "tricks" that do not conform to the standards of professional honesty as to the make-up (concentration) of solutions of the polymer, addition points, actual pounds used, laboratory analysis of trial data and many more dishonest methods of reporting actual trial data. An experienced supervisor is required to observe, collect true data during these full scale polymer evaluations.

A comprehensive polymer training course is provided by H2OT to teach novice water treating operators a simple, but technically challenging outlook on what polymers are, how they work and how to successfully use them and the harmful effects of overdosing. This comprehensive course discusses technical issues involved with the use of polyacrylamide polymers.

A quality control program can be provided by H2OT to test polymers on critical production parameters. Most polymers are not tested for their upper and lower limits of key production characteristics which play an important role on how well this shipment of polymer will work for the customer. H2OT will provice detailed testing protocols and how to establish a quality control program for one of the most important, expensive chemicals used in a plant.
